This is for odors!
There are positive general purpose filters out there that are much less expensive and will give you clean air, but that's not really what this is for.
I moved into a new place a while back, and the past owner had a dog, a fireplace, smoked in the house, and had new carpet in 1 room, and old WOW-musty carpet in another.
He also evidently didn't like to take out the garbage, because the whole place smelled like month old cooking gammon.
I vacuumed, steam cleaned, painted, scrubbed, vacuumed some more, but the odors always came back. It was also ant infested, and I needed to exhalation the place more than once.
I keep reptile pets, so it's a HUGE inconvenience to fume the place, as they all have to get moved out to storm.
Also, there was a major water leak, and whenever you ran the A/C, it was obvious there was mold in the vents.
It took a long once in a while, but I'm running this on low speed 24/7 in my living room, and it keeps the place liveable while I slowly got the smells under authority over with cleaning. It does wonders on cooking odors, pet odors, staleness, mustyness, "wet dog" and some things that HEPA filters won't cover, like living next to the wastewater treatment plant.

This met my expectations. I also wish there was a 'kit' to add powerful UV and photocatalytic elements to this unit, but I think it's not an upgrade, principled an option on a new unit.

I finally came across this unit, and it is staggering!! Nothing compares to it. It is so quiet, and works so well, from the second we turned it on we could see it immediately start to waste the smoke. This unit is 100% worth every penny. If you need something strong, this unit is the most skilfully. Did the foible work
